Oversized Shipments

The maximum allowable weight per item is 35 pounds. Any item weighing over 35 lbs. is considered an additional shipment and may require special handling and related charges. For details call customer care for a quote at 800-683-7648, option 4.

Shipments that are in excess of 20 inches in any two dimensions or over 36 inches in length require special handling by our pick up drivers, sorters, processors and delivery drivers. To cover the costs of special handling a $2.00 charge applies.

Unpackaged shipments are not accepted and we reserve the right to refuse or reject a shipment when, in our opinion, the shipment would be likely to cause damage or delay to other shipments, equipment or personnel. All boxes must be sealed with the contents fully enclosed.

Norco Overnite is not liable for any package that does not comply with these guidelines. If a shipment is received with inappropriate packaging that results in providing special handling a $10.00 handling charge will be applied.
