What are the terms of payment for services rendered?
Accounts are invoiced weekly and due and payable within 15 days of receipt (aka: Net 15). Any account thirty days past due will incur interest and be responsible for any fees incurred to collect. Any account with an outstanding balance exceeding 60 days may be suspended. All accounts are required to have a credit card held on file and will be billed if 1) requested by the client or; 2) the account ships less than $150 per quarter or; 3) the account has an outstanding balance exceeding ninety days. Accounts inactive for 3 months may be closed.

I have a question about my invoice. Who can I call?
Questions about a particular shipment or charge can be answered by Customer Care at (800) 683-7648. Questions about billing in general or payment options can be answered by calling the Accounting department at OE's parent company, Norco Delivery Services, at (714)520-8600.

How are my invoices sorted?
By default, all invoices are first sorted by the Billing Reference field, then by Pick-Up Date of the shipment. Clients who prefer to have their invoices first sorted by Pick-Up Date can do so by contacting accounting at (800)683-7648 or by e-mail by clicking here. For additional sorting options, refer to the section on "electronic billing" below.

Does Overnite Express provide electronic billing options?
Overnite Express provides many forms of electronic billing, each one customized to our client’s individual needs.
In lieu of receiving paper invoices by mail invoices can be e-mailed in .pdf or .xls formats.
Additionally, files can be sent in any other format that you require, including formats suitable for import into Peachtree, QuickenBooks, or any other available "accounts payable" type application. If you are already receiving your billing from another carrier in digital format and would like to receive the same from Overnite Express, e-mail a sample copy with your account number and instructions to techsupport@overniteexpress.com

Can I charge my shipments to my credit card?
Yes. Overnite Express accepts American Express, Discover/NOVUS, MasterCard, Visa or any debit card with the Mastercard or Visa logo as valid credit cards for payment.

Besides the actual charges for shipments what other fees or charges can I expect?
Account Qualification: In an effort to provide the highest possible service at the most economical price, Overnite Express keeps costs down by only opening accounts and providing shipping supplies to those who have a genuine need to ship packages on a regular basis. As such, we have implemented a qualification system designed to identify prospects who are truly interested in taking advantage of our very unique service and to deter those who are merely interested in using Overnite Express as an occasional backup.

I received a charge for an "address correction" of $10.00 what is this for?
When a shipment is addressed to an incorrect or invalid destination, a lot of time and effort goes into locating the correct address. To cover these efforts a $10.00 address correction charge applies. See our Service Guide on Address Corrections for more information.

I received a "RD charge" is this the same as an address correction?
The "RD" code that you see on your invoice indicates a Re-Direct charge. This is an address correction that resulted in your shipment being re-directed to an entirely different delivery route. In some cases delivery to the second address will occur on the same day, in others delivery may be delayed by a day.
